Dr. Deepak Garg has done his Ph.D. in the area of efficient algorithm design. He is certified on various technologies from Sun, IBM and Brain bench. He is Senior Member of IEEE and is Executive Member of IEEE Delhi Section and treasurer Computer Society Delhi Section. He is Life Member of ISTE, CSI, IETE, ISC, British Computer Society and ACM. He is also serving at different levels in various social and spiritual organizations. He has taught various core subjects at graduate and undergraduate levels and is guiding PhD students.
He was chair of IACC,09 attended by 800 authors and delegates. He has handled various research projects and organized two national conferences. He has successfully organized 12 short-term courses on latest technologies.
He has 28 publications in various International Journals and conferences. He is President of Creative Computer Society and Coordinator of various Industry collaborations in the University. He has served in various committees and has been a member of Senate of Thapar University. He has 10 years of teaching/research/development experience that includes working in IBM Corporation, USA. He has edited two books and is on the editorial board of many International Journals. He provides consultancy in the area of software development and technical education.
